How It Works

Each month, Hunnykin sets aside 5% of revenue (not profit) to support carefully chosen charities that feed and care for children. Our partners may change month to month so we can respond to real needs, and we’ll keep you updated in our newsletter and on Instagram about who your purchase is helping.

Our Partner for 2025: Sahasee Embers

We’re honored to begin by partnering with Sahasee Embers, an NGO in Mumbai, India. Every day, they provide 120 children — the sons and daughters of sex workers and survivors of human trafficking — with a hot, nutritious meal and a safe place to learn and play.

These meals are very nourishing. At about ₹80 (≈ $1) per child, each plate is freshly cooked on-site by women from the community. Children enjoy rice, lentils, and vegetables seven days a week, and twice a week they are offered egg and chicken. For kids who might otherwise go hungry, it’s a meal filled with nourishment, love, and a sense of belonging.
